How To Cure Post Prandial Hypotension And Raised Heart Rate?

my husband is 72 yr old and i diagnosed his condition as post prandial hypotension by googling his symtoms as for 3 long yrs the dr couldnt .his rx is amlodipine besy-benazepril hcl-10-40 1 a day triamterene-hctz 37.5-25mg oral-cap.2 a day. his heart rate goes up and bp goes down.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Since your husband's BP goes down, the pulse is raised by the body to compensate for the low BP.
You have to take the consultation of another Cardiologist and may need alteration of the dosage or change from Amlodipine besy-benazepril hcl-10-40 1 a day Triamterene-hctz 37.5-25mg oral-cap.2 a day to some other medicines which can not cause sudden hypotension as this is dangerous also.
The cause of sudden Post-Prandial Hypotension is that the blood flow to the intestine is increase tremendously hence the blood supply to the heart and brain and all other structures is reduced to cause this.
