Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an episode this morning: profuse sweating, lightheadedness, the shakes.
I am a 58 year old woman, 5' tall, 190 lbs.
I had a similar episode Friday night at a supermarket (just shopping)
Taking routine meds for a cold (Azrythromycin) finished Sat, Methylprednisolone last dose after breakfast this morning
What might this be?
If I were your doctor I would order blood tests to check a cbc, a metabolic panel and thyroid panel. Anemia, thyroid disease or other metabolic abnormalities could cause your symptoms. I suggest that you see your doctor for an exam and labs as soon as possible.
