How To Cure Rashes On Face And Skin?

Hi my daughter is 5 years old.... 2 days ago after she returned from her school picnic -pool and outdoor games - we noticed rashes on her face and hands....I applied a normal skin cream and the rashes went away, last evening/night they recurred, same case today again. What could be the cause and what should be done?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of Urticaria/hives. They are pale to red, edematous patches, irregular in shape, itchy and are evanescent (sudden onset and usually last for only a few hours).

Causes are food, drugs, infection, environmental allergens(pollen, dust, mites etc).

Treatment is oral antihistamines e.g cetrizine syp once or twice daily for a week.

topical soothing lotion e.g calamine can be applied locally,

regards
