How To Cure Red Patches Below Knees Due To Heinox Scholin Perpura?

Hai I have a baby who is 8 years old now. She was 3 years & 6 months old when she had heinox scholin perpura in her legs below kness. After that she is continuously getting red patches below her knees in legs as well as the arms it just comes & disappears on its own there is no pain or itching. Doctor please advice what could be the reason & whom should I consult

Hi...the below knee rash of Henoch Schonlein Purpura can be recurrent and once it starts can be there for 6 week also. Unless the kid is having - blood in the stools or blood in urine or severe pain abdomen you need not worry. You consult a general pediatrician with good experience in this field. The skin manifestations and rash doesn't warrant steroid administration.
