hi iam a 41 year old male and work in south very hot i like to drink beer every day thur a friend came over at about 4.00 it was 99f that day we drink outside only.thur i went to work and my stomach was very sore and i had dirarrhea got up sat stomach ach and diarrhea cold chills all day and still.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history and understood your concerns. Drinking bear daily might not cause diarrhea, chills and sore stomach. This is most probably gastroenteritis caused by something you must have ate outside while having beer. Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get the stool tested and consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and proper management with antibiotic active against intestinal infection, metronidazole, probiotics and supportive therapy in the form of electrolyte solution, PPI like Omeprazole and anything else as may be needed. Needless to say that you have to stop beer and outside food. Take plenty of oral fluids, boiled and cooled water. Homemade food only.
