How To Cure The Condition Of Walking Pneumonia?

My father who is 81 years old has had walking pneumonia however he has developed pain in both legs from the knees down and has red bumps (that do not itch) all over his legs any ideas on what this could be? We have put a call into his doctor and are waiting for a call back.

Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. It appears to be deep vein thrombosis.
2. The redness, age, medical history and severe pain suggests a possible thrombus. Do not move him, otherwise, clot could get dislodged and pulmonary embolism can occur.
3. Take him to the emergency immediately for treatment. Catheterization and lysis along with anti-coagulation is necessary.
