How To Cure Upper Stomach Pain Which Is Noticed After Eating?

For about 2 weeks I have been experiencing on/off upper stomach pain (I'm a 31 year old man)
. It is a sharp pain. This happened not long after I started taking Crestor for the first time. There is no increase in pain if I eat or drink. I started to feel a little bit better yesterday, but today the pain came back pretty bad. Does this have anything to do with going on Crestor and should I seek immediate medical attention?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, crestor may not cause the gastritis it is very less likely but in your case it may be exceptional, so I would advise to change the time of crestor do not take this on empty stomach,, if this is the gastritis due to drug taken (Rosuvastatin) then I would suggest to take the Tab Omeprazole 40mg once in day.
Differential diagnosis would be matter of concern here, it can not be taken as granted for acid peptic disease but cardiac elements needs to be ruled out too.
hope this information helps.
