How To Cure Urinary Bladder Problem After Having Hysterectomy?

i had a hysterectomy with tvt bladder sling and mesh on 6-11-14 GYN Dr. preformed the surgery and it went well but after 5 days i could not empty my bladder completely, having pain and going from hot to cold all the time. went to the dr. and he said i was not emptying well. he dilated me and sent me home to do self cath every 6 hrs. things have not improved and now he says he needs to cut the mesh into and things will get better. I am afraid if i have this surgery I will have leaking problems as well as the bladder falling again. is there anything i can try or do?

Incomplete bladder emptying is a known complication of TVT sling. Occasionally patients have to have their sling cut. However from my experiene leakage of urine from cutting the sling do happen but rare. So be hopeful.
