General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As the issue is of long-time duration, less likely possibility of infection and more likely to be due to either respiratory, digestive or renal intensive work up with his family physician for the evaluation of the cause and manage accordingly.

Though primary care with anti-emetic as ondansetron and once vomit is under control, intake of more liquids will help to some extent.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
