My daughter had a mole removed today from the labia area. Her gyn removed it, resulting in about 4 stitches afterwards. The mole had changed a small amt in color and shape from last year. Her gyn said he thought it was probably a dysplastic mole and that he really wasn't concerned about melanoma. Is it fairly easy to tell by looking at these moles whether or not it is most likely not a melanoma?
