How To Ensure Adequate Food Intake In A Toddler?

Hi,My daughter is 2 years 2 months old and she resists eating food. She now weighs 10.3 Kg.Can you help me providing advice to increase her gain weight.We just started giving her pediasure with 2 scoops along with water twice a day. Can we continue with only 2 scoops or increase the dosage.-S

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
At this age your daughter is expected to weigh about 12 kgs.
Give her energy rich foods without increasing the bulk.
For example rice+dal with 2 spoons of ghee.
Rice+milk with 2-3 spoons of sugar
chapthi or phulka with ghee dressing
Give grean leafy vegetables and juicy fruits
You give those foods which the child likes most and not the foods which you think good for your child.
you may continue pediasure as usual.
