How To Find If Immovable Lump On Back Of Head Is A Swollen Gland Or A Growth?

Hi I have a hard immovable lump on back of head on the right side. I am not sure if it hurts or not because I have been poking it a lot so the mild discomfort could be that. It is not on the other side. I am 29/f. How do I know if it is a swollen gland or a growth? I noticed only 4 days ago. It is maybe the size of a pea or a little bigger
