How To Get Pregnant If Having Thyroiditis And Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?

I have hashimoto's thyroiditis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I am wanting to become pregnant but my GYN says that I have a very high percent chance of never having children. Is there anything I can do to reverse what I have? Also I have lose my insurance and cant get on any fertility plan now. Is there anything I can take over the counter that would help me become pregnant? We have been trying for almost three years now and I am starting to really lose hope in becoming a mother.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
No need to lose hopes. Main problem in PCOS preventing conception is that of anovulation. If you can get ovulation induction medicines (difficult to get OTC) it is best. Other option is to reduce weight by healthy diet & daily exercise of at least 30minutes. Along with that, you can take myoinositol nutritional supplement. Its thought to reduce insulin resistance & promote ovulation in PCOS & thus help in conception.
Hope this helps you.
Regards.
