Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history of throat pain while speaking and swallowing. In spite of visits to Doctors and done everything as told you are not getting rid of this problem.
I would advise you in such a situation the following:
-
Second opinion of a senior ENT Surgeon.
- CT or MRI of the Larynx and the sole neck.
- Voice rest and to avoid all the foods and beverages which increase your problem.
- Take help of the speech therapist as it looks to me that you are using excessive force, of course unknowingly while speaking as this is one unstoppable function.
This causes Muscle spasm, something like RSI- the
Repetitive Stress Injury to the muscles that act on speaking and swallowing.
- ENT
Endoscopy examination to visualize the interior.
- It is possible that there is inflammation of the Aretenoid, hyoid and
thyroid cartilages. These need oral
steroid treatment in tapering dosages.
I hope, you can discuss this in your next visit to the ENT Surgeon , discuss and take appropriate treatment and you will be fine for ever.
