How To Get Relief From Gastritis And Esophagitis?

I have been diagnosed with gastritis and esphogitis and I still don't feel any better. I'm taking my meds, not smoking cigarettes, but I do smoke a joint or two still everyday. I just want to know when am I going to feel better? I was diagnosed with esophagel spasms.

Hello
Diagnosis is established so these measurement may be useful for you.
1 Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It also might help to avoid eating or drinking for 2-3 hours before you lie down. To help control gastritis one should not drinks with caffeine in them or eat chocolates or spicy or fried food or pizza, burger. Also take some antacid but if symptoms are severe you may need drugs like proton pump inhibitors like pantaprazole-d once or twice in day on empty stomach.
2 Overeating is the most common cause of esphagitis or gastritis , so be careful .
3 Tension or anxiety are another reasons of chronic gastritis , so take care .
With these measure you feel better on day one and you will be alright within 2-3 months period ( provided strictly follow these measures ).
Good luck.
