How To Get Rid Of A Choking Feeling Of Food In The Throat?

I am pregnant and vomitted my dinner this evening. I have a terrible feeling in my throat like food is stuck there; however, I vomitted again and it's still there so I'm assuming thats not the case. What am I experiencing and how can I get rid of it? I am scared to go to bed because I'm afraid I'm going to choke!

Hello

please dont worry , it is likely that you have developed a swelling in your throat because of the vomiting , relax, this will disappear in a day or two. You can start gargling with warm salt water and avoid spicy/oily food, you will be fine. You can also take omeprazole 20 mg , 2 times a day, half hour before food ,for reducing the acidity.
Thanks
