How To Get Rid Of A Swallowed Quarter By A 5 Years Old Child?

My 5 year old son swallowed a quarter 19 days ago. We go in for his 3rd followup appointment tomorrow morning. I'm considering getting a second opinion if it is still present in the xrays. I'm concerned about toxic metals remaining in his digestive tract. He's been on laxatives for two weeks. I'm hoping there's bern some movement, but I'm not optimistic.

Metal coins in the GI tract will not cause any toxicity, but may cause an obstruction. Where in the GI tract was the coin seen last? Get the Xray done and keep checking the stool to see if its passed out.
