Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the gastritis and chronic acidity issue needs life time care of certain aspects of life style management to get comfort as they are not curable for life.

Dietary measures:
- Prefer whole grains, cereals, pulses, legumes
- Avoid all spices, non veg, junk items, dairy fat
- Drink more liquids in sessions
- Avoid aerated drinks and commerical bevarages
- Chew your food thoroughly
- Consume frequent, small amount of feeds at intervals
- Avoid over eating and prolong fasting

Life style modifications:
- Regular walking, aerobics
- Meditations and YOGA
- Control of body weight
- Control of blood pressure and sugar levels
- Avoidance of stress and anxiety
- Maintain regular sound sleep of 7 hours
- Avoid smoking and alcohol if consuming
- Keep the stomach empty of 25% of satiety value
- Foot end elevation of bed side while resting
- Avoid over eating and prolong fasting as well

Medicinal support:
- Evaluation of H. Pylori as causative agent through diagnostic endoscopy and biopsy
- Radical eradication with triple antibiotic therapy for 14 days if the biopsy proven H. Pylori is the test result
- Proton pump inhibitor
- Avoidance of NSAIDs and other analgesic, antibiotics without prescription of the doctor

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
