How To Get Rid Of Constipation, Terrible Distension, Sore Stomach During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am pregnant 8 weeks and i am suffering from terrible distension. I am constipated and my tommy has been bolted so badly and i have too sore on my stomach right under my chest. I know i should drink plenty water and fruit and veg. and so on... If i could get ride of constipation,i am sure i get much better but how? plum,lots of water,and other stuff i have had but still constipated. I also should mention that i have has stomach problem for years but NEVER that bad... Thank you so much

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The motility of the gut decreases in pregnancy because of hormones.
That can lead to constipation.
That may be responsible for your bloating sensation, pain etc.
So, better to go for laxatives with your doctor's advice.
Continue taking adequate water, high fiber diet etc.
Sedentary lifestyle can lead to constipation.
So better to do walking for around 30 minutes per day.
If needed go for antacids to treat gastritis etc with your doctor's advice.
Gradually with progression of gestational age, symptoms may get controlled.
