How To Get Rid Of Diarrhoea In Pregnancy?

I was in the hospital a few days ago and received IV fluids because I was dehydrated from throwing up & diarrhea either from something I ate or a virus. I m also 35 weeks pregnant so my dehydration was causing too many contractions. I was given two shots of magnesium sulfate to calm them down. I m alot better now but still have some diarrhea and I m very bloated and gassy. Would this be caused from the fluids or shots or could I still have some kind of germ?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of being 35 weeks pregnancy, got dehydrated due to vomiting and diarrhea, received IV fluids for a few days to avoid dehydration; also give two shots of Magnesium sulfate to calm down the contraction. Better but the diarrhea, bloating and gases continue. Wants to know whether caused by iv fluids or the shots you received.
The problem looks like intestinal infection and a simple test of stool would have shown the cause. Proper antibiotic cover, probiotics, activated charcoal tablets would have helped you more.
This does not look to be caused by the shorts or the IV fluids so do not worry about it.
