Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I had an angiogram through the groin two weeks ago and an Angioseal was used. The next morning I had a haematoma which was stopped at the hospital by pressure by the ward sister. After four days rest I went back to work. As a podiatrist I sit on the edge of my seat to attend to people s feet. The discomfort I felt when resuming work still persists and I am wondering if this is to be expected. My problem is clouded by the fact that I suffer from IBS and intermittant prostatitis which both can send pain into the area a well - so I am confused at present. - regards Geoff

How To Get Rid Of Groin Pain?
Hello, As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
