Hello
I have gone through your question and understood your concern.
Hair loss can be a symptom of
hypothyroidism.
Your TSH of last month was too high and this can explain your aggresively increased hair fall.
Anyway as
endocrinologist,i can say that this symptom will ease and than disappear within several weeks of thyroid
hormone replacement therapy.
I suggest to repeat the TSH level after 6 weeks from the moment when you started the thyroid treatement and than to consult your treating doctor because you may need dosis adjustment of Thyrox(according to the TSH result.)
If the hair fall persist after the TSH is normal, than my advice is to talk with a
dermatologist because you may have dermatological conditions like seborrheic eczema or psoriasis that can be the culpit of your problem.
My suggestions for you:
-Drink plently of water
-Eat a healthy, balanced diet.
-Add foods high in vitamin C and iron to your diet.
-Brush and wash your hair gently.
-Avoid using chemicals and hair dyes
-Try to manage stress
Hope this is helpful.
If you have other questions, feel free and ask.I will be happy to help.
Take care
