How To Get Rid Of The UTI?

Hi when i wee it strings and the area stings most of the time, i had sex sereval times in a day and didn't got to the toilet, i read that can cause a uti? Is that likely and do I have to go to a doctor or will cranberry juice and water flush it out eventually?
