How To Get Rid Of The Big Knot On The Butt Cheek Caused By A Fall?

i fell very hard on stairs a week ago. I hit my right buttcheek right on the corner of the stair so very hard.i hit so hard my ears were actually ringing and it made me throw up twice immediately after i got up.now the bruise is slowly going away but i have a very big gooseegg type knot under the skin. i am concerned cause have heard horror stories and am unsure if i should go to the dr or wait more time for the knot to go down.it still hurts when i sit the wrong way, but am mostly concered about the big knot

Hello,

The big knot could be local bleeding between tissues. In such case, it will take a couple of weeks to disappear. Anyway, if this does not happen, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and an X-ray study of the scull.
