I HAVE COPD. I TRIED TO TAKE MUCINEX FOR MUCULS CONTROL. HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN GETTING PANIC/ANEXIETY ATTACKS EVERY TIME I TAKE ONE OF THE PILL. IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE XANAX TO ALEVIATE THIS FROM HAPPENING. I AM 72 YEARS OLD, WEIGHT 179 LBS, AND AM 6 FEET TALL. DENNIS
Xanax contains clonazepam and it does not lead to respiratory depression. You can take it. There is nothing harm in it. It would help to control the panic attack. Along with xanax, you can also try some antidepressant or relaxation exercise, that would help to keep you calm. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
