How To Get Rid Of The Stomach Pain?

Hi. Thursday morning I woke up with terrible stomach ache and had upset stomach. Friday I woken up with the same, also sat sun and today (mon) it s mostly in the morning but I had a little bit of stomach pain Sunday night too. I have been told in the past i have ibs but taking my buscopan doesn t seem To help much.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of waking up with terrible stomach ache, upset stomach on Thursday which has continued till Sunday. You were told to have IBS.
From the history your have given, this looks to be due to either IBS or may be due to intestinal infection.
I would advise you the following since you have too much of pain and stomach upset.
Send the sample of the stool and blood for tests and if infection is present, get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics if needed.
Further tests of ultrasonography, colonoscopy may be needed only if you do not get the complete relief to find out a specific cause.
If all the reports are within normal limits, then this can be taken as IBS and then take the treatment on this line, control of stress and/or anxiety are very important.
