How To Headache,loss Of Memory And Lack Of Concentration And An Injury?

Dr. Keerthi, I had a fall and landed on my head 6 months ago. Have irritability, mem loss, poor concentration, headaches etc. About 2 months in the left side of my face by eye and mouth were pulling down and felt as if frozen for 30 to 90 seconds. could this be a small seizure. have had them but not too common

Hello!

I read your question carefully and understand your concern.

Your symptoms are related to a "post concussion syndrome". Sometimes these symptoms persist for months after the concussion, interfering with your daily activity.

Regarding the face and the eye symptoms they may be caused by a seizure, but also by a transitory ischemic attack.

So I recommend you to consult with the neurologist and perform an EEG and a brain CT scan.

I would recommend you to start therapy with Lamotrigine or valproate. They are antiepilepsy drugs which help you with headache and mood disorders. An alternative therapy would be an antidepressant like amytriptiline.
