i feel pain in my waist .i got x-ray tested (LUMBO-SACRAL SPINE A.P & LAT.View ).IMPRESSION : Mild straightening of lumbar spine with early degenrative changes are present in from of few marginal osteophytes.Syndesmophytes at L2-L3 level on the right side.possibility Early AS ADV:HLA-B27 corelation and MRI SI joint for further evaluation Mild sclerosis is present in the left SI joint. plz tell me what its all and what should I do

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic.Generally lumbar spine is slightly curved, so it got straightened indicating that there is pain. early degenerative changes means age related changes. osteopytes aro protrusion of corners of vertebrae indicate aging When osteophtes of two vertebrae fuses it forms syndesmophytes, these are seen in ankylosing spondylitis(A disease). AS means ankylosing spondylitis(A disease). ADV HLA-B27 means a test(calledHLA-B27) to confirm it is advised and MRI SI joint for further evaluation is advised.So got required investigation done. Treatment is exercises and analgesics (diclofenac 100mgSR). Sit in a straight posture.Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily.Further treatment depends over diagnosis confirmation.
