Hello Dr, my 9 months old boy eats the same level as what he ate in 6 months. There is no improvement and if i force to give one extra spoon of food he vomits completely. Kindly suggest. He eats only cerelac rice and finely smashed rice and vegetables. That too he is getting bored these days. He refuses to accept even partially smashed food and accepts only in fully smashed form. Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. I don't see any developmental disorders. Your boy is 9 months and at this age they are more interested in playing than wasting time eating. They are taking enough food, I think. Otherwise, they always ask. Their internal development requires enough food and they cannot overlook appetite. You should not worry much about this. Forcing them to eat more always triggers vomiting because they already had more than enough. I think you should talk to your pediatrician regarding this. After talking to him, you should change your attitude towards your son.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
