Hi,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum. You have mentioned your baby is totally on formula milk. I hope you have begun introducing solids at the age of 6 months and weaning your baby. You can begin by giving him rice or wheat cereals. The rule is to stick to one food for atleast four days to check for any allergy. Then you can begin with fruits like apple, banana. You need to puree them well if the baby does not have teeth. Please do not worry about appearance of your baby. If your baby is attentive, responding to you, crawling at this stage, growing well be happy. Active babies do tend to lose weight when they move around. try and give your baby 3 meals a day. You can also give egg yolk and pureed and cooked meat. Take care
