How To Interpret MRI Report Of Slip Disc Says?

Hi I got a Slip Disc and the MRI report says... Central and Bilateral paracentral herniation with minimum Inferior extrusion of L5-S1 disc compressing the anterior epidural fat indenting the thecal sac, impinging on bilateral traversing S1 and minimally impinging on exiting L5 nerve roots and compromising the neural foramina. Can anyone help me understanding this report.

Hi,

I understand how difficult it is to understand medical terms and anatomy structures, anyway, these findings mean that the disc is out of place and moved towards the spinal canal pressing both the segmental nerves and the spinal cord theca as well as the level L5 and S1 vertebral nerves, the herniated disc is minimally downwards extruded.

These findings cannot decide a surgery unless correlated with clinical findings like numbness in your legs or pain or inability to move, for example, bowel and urine incontinence and so on.
