How To Interpret Ultrasound Test After Removal Of IUD?
Hi, I recently had my IUD taking out but when my dr removed it it broke, only part of the IUD came out. I had an ultrasound done these is what the results say.
Somewhat enlarged, heterogeneous uterus.
probable segments of retained IUD seen in the lower uterine segment. Cannot exclude retained fragments of IUD. would correlate clinically.
Right ovarian follicles
simple left ovarian cyst.
Is all these bad news?

According to the reports,some parts of the IUD are still within the lower uterine segment.It should be correlated clinically.
Uterus is enlarged in size and heterogeneous in echotexture.
There is simple left ovarian cyst.
Follicles are normally present in right ovary.
