How To Know If The Head Injury Is Serious?

one yr. old just starting to walk, fell head first into a coffee table. Lump appeared soft between eyes. Put a cold cloth on and off for 5/10 min. bump went down some. But noticeable. Child ate soon after. How do I know if this injury is serious?

Thanks for your question.

If your child is sleepy and not rousable, seems to have trouble with his vision, complains of an increasing headache, vomits more than twice then you should seek medical attention. Its very common for children of this age to fall and hit there heads and the majority of the time they are fine.
