After that, light bleeding may persist for next 7 days to resolve completely. You should maintain genital hygiene properly. Post pill abortion, you must undergo one USG lower abdomen to check retained bits/ conceptional products if any. It will confirm whether abortion is completed or not. In few percentage cases, D &C may be required to evacuate uterine cavity and complete abortion process. Practice safe sex by using safe period/ OCP/ other methods to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
