How To Manage Breathing Difficulty, Also Have Atrial Fibrillation?

I am a 75 year old obese woman with atrial fibrilation. I have a hard time breathing when the weather gets hot (it has been over 100 here for two weeks). If I walk from one end of my house to the other I am winded and it takes a long time to get my breath

Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Need to check hemoglobin levels. Anemia along with dehydration commonly in hot weather causes these symptoms.
2. Take plenty of fluids to maintain adequate hydration.
3. Weight reduction necessary. Reduced lung function predominantly due to abdomen pushing up the lungs. Breathing exercises will help, particularly, you can start with spirometry. Do evaluate for anemia.
