We are giving him fibre rich diet that includes crushed papaya, spinach & tomato soup, dals, chapati etc..
Also two ayurvedic syrups are being given-Laxoroll and Livomak
Today is 4th day he hasn't had a bowel.10 days back, we took him to a doctor who performed "anema" on him because he hadn't bowel since a week..

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that your son might be having acute constipation.
Though symptomatic relief can be obtained with enema or intake of laxative preparations, the underlying cause needs to be treated.

The causes of constipation can be:
1. Any pathology/ sub acute obstruction in the Gastrointestinal tract.
2. Functional cause- due to decreased gastric motility.
3. Inadequate intake of fluids and fiber rich diet.
4. Hormonal & Metabolic causes, etc.

So, kindly consult a Gastroenterologist & get a proper clinical examination done.
Investigations like complete blood count, Ultrasound scan of abdomen & contrast studies will be helpful to rule out any pathological cause for his symptoms.

There is no need to worry, he will be fine.
Till then, maintain adequate hydration & proper nutrition status.

Wishing him a good health.
Take care.
