How To Overcome The Feeling Of Food Stuck To The Throat?
I am currently on adderall and have post nasal drip. I received a round of antibiotics which did help with the feeling of hair being stuck in my throat. However, now I am experiencing a dry tongue in the back and I feel like I have small particles, like food, that causes me to swallow constantly. I still have post nasal drip and can feel thick mucous going down my throat. I have tried to increase my water intake but this has not helped. I have seasonal allergies and food allergies, but I do not take any medication for this at this time.
The sticky feeling in the throat may be due to enlargement of normal structures called follicles on the back of your tongue , this is commonly seen due to post nasal drip and will come down once the post nasal drip stops. Please meet your ent doctor to confirm this. You can gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day , this will reduce the size of the follicles and give you some relief.
Thanks
