How To Prevent Blisters On Feet And Ankles From Reappearing?

Im constantly getting blisters on the side of my feet and ankles. They start as a little red pimple then they turn into a big fluid filled blister. They last as long as four weeks. They scab before going away and then leaves a ugly scar once the scab is gone. What can i do to prevent them from reoccurring?
