How To Prevent Side Effects Of GERD And Hernia Medicines?

I don t know what to do. I m suffering with GERD and a hernia. I took omeprazole for a year and the longer I used it the more side effects I got. it gave me nausea, it made me depressed, anxious and then I started getting these headaches every day from morning to night. it stopped when I changed my medicine to esomeprazole, but now after a couple of months I get these headaches again. Painkillers don t work, the headache stays for weeks and then it might be gone for a couple of days before it s back. I m allergic. to pantoprazole so I can t try that one. when I take 10mg in morning and 10 in evening, it gives less side effects but it s still not good. another side effect I get is gas. I just don t know how I will proceed with this. my doctors seem to think that I just have to live with daily nausea and etc.
