How To Reduce ESR Level In Blood?

sir,im from india,my brother is affected heavy joint pain..then we went to hospital and doctors suggested to take some blood tests..the ESR level is more than 100..and doctor told this is RA.. and its not controlled by any treatment..day by day disease increased..hoe to reduce ESR level?..pls help us..

Hello,

The ESR is a non-specific measure of the total amount of inflammation in the body. It can be caused by almost anything and stays elevated for awhile.

The best way to decrease it would be by treating the underlying cause, in your case RA. There are many drugs to treat RA, I would ask your doctor about them.
