How To Reduce Discomforts During Sex While Using IUD?

i have an IUD for the past year and half. I am currently in a secure relationship an we use no protection. My mate is complaining about feeling sumthing-His description in he feels a string but im assuming it feels like its going across the head of his penis not not sumthing poking him. Our last encounter he used a condom i guess it gives him a lil comfort. Not sure what should my question should b but how can i comfort him more???

Sometimes the sensation on the male penis while inside the female partner can be difficult to explain, but what I would recommend is a more psychological approach. Go to a doctor for a regular physical examination during which you could request for a speculum examination (in which the doctor uses a special device to look into the female reproductive system). Clean/clear results would help him psychologically register that there is nothing that he should be worried about. This could probably remove the fear or feeling that he has.
