How To Reduce Pain Caused By Tumor In Spinal Cord Other Than Morphine Pump?

My 92 year old grandmother has a morphine pump to help with several pain caused by a tumor in her spinal cord. What other pain medicine can she take? She was taking a 1/4 of a .5 MG of Lorezapamtwice a day which she swears up and down stopped the pain. Both of her current doctors has told her she should stop this medicine ASAP and her pain doctor is just telling her to take Aleve or Advil.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Looking to history given here and the age of your grand mother, it is better to treat her pain with the simple NSAID and not with the potent analgesic or with Narcotic drugs, these could cause unwanted side effects, she may be having the same analgesic effects with the NSIAD drugs, hope this information helps you, have a good day.
