How To Reduce Swelling At The Vaccination Injection Site?

Hi Dr. I am pawan yesterday I have given prevenar vaccination to my 2 yr 4 months daughter on thigh, after getting injection she has little swelling on injection area and feaver less than 100 degree F.
for reducing the swelling could you suggest me something to do at home.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Apply ice over injection site 2 to 3 times a day.
Give acetaminophen 15mg/kg body weight.
This will subside in a day or two.
