How To Relieve Sinus Pressure In The Nose And Face?
I have a lot of sinus pressure in my face and nose.. But when I woke up with that, I also woke up with what seemed like a slight toothache also.. It was in the back on the right side now it's in the front on the bottom.. It's like an achy type feeling info in my gums and my teeth feel numb/achy. What could this be?
As per your complain sinus pressure on face and nose along with achy/ numb teeth and gums are all indicating towards sinus infection or Sinusitis.. As the maxillary sinuses are close to the upper teeth therefore the gums and teeth can have ache or pain..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room.. You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods.. Do warm compresses around nostrils..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
