How To Remove Swelling Caused By Intravenous Antibiotics?
My mother is in hospital receiving intravenous antibiotics as she is 82 her veins are collapsing and she is bruising badly. How could this be treated to remove swelling and make her more comfortable?

Hi,
it seems that there might be having extravasation of blood due to iv prick.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
Apply Thrombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
