How To Safely Remove A Small Coin Which Has Been Swallowed?

9 days ago my 20month old son swallowed a 5p coin. I have checked his nappies every day since then, and not seen anything!
however, yesterday (day 8 he started vomiting). this morning he has a fever and is still vomiting. His tummy doesnt seem to be sore or swollen at all.
do you think this could be related

Thanks for the query.

First of all you do the x- ray abdomen to confirm the location of the coin.

Give him banana to eat, it helps in getting the coin out.

See tje surgeon if coin does not come out own its own.
