How To Stop The Formula Milk And What Type Of Food Can Be Given?

hi, my son had cough for almost 3 weeks and the phlegm keeps on producing till now. but after doing the nebuliser and massage therapy it reduces alot but still has a little bit. how to make it stop? Sometimes i still hear the sound from his breathing because of the phlegm. he is 7 months now and has change the formula milk to Nestle NAN HA. what is the steps to make it stop and what food and fruits that he is able to eat?

Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Most likely cause of these symptoms are allergic tendency or viral infections. Most infants outgrow them as they grow. They need just symptomatic management for breathing problems when present. So, continue with minimal dose of nebulization and avoid overtreatment. Levosalbutamol and hypertonic saline nebulisations are good. Also use antihistamine such as Chlorpheniramine for symptomatic relief.

Ensure 2-3 bowls of complementary feeds along with milk formulas. You may give all fruits in puried form.Try all your staple foods in proper grinded or semisolid form.
