How To Stop The Habit Of Violently Rocking My Head?

i m 38 yrs old and have been violently rocking my head back and forth all my life, no1 will sleep beside me but i,m not even aware i be doing it. i ve started having pains in my neck. i used to also rock back and forth sitting upright on sofa or chair, how do i stop this?? HELP PLEASE!
