How To Stop Xanax Addiction?

i been taking xanax for 7 yrs.been trying to brake the habbit but the withdrawl is crazy had a sizure when i stopped taking them on the ninth day so i been scared ever since then to really stop taking them is their any other way to quite this addiction

I understand how difficult it is to get off some of these medications. I will suggest that you gradually go off the medication in a long time.. Reduce the dose progressively and should it take several months to try getting off, it would be great been how long you have been on it. You may want to try by educing the dose to 4/5, 3/5. 2/5, 1/5 etc, then stopping over a 5months trial period.
