It is very usual for children attending daycare to have frequent infections, for example 5 or 6 per year. Nutrition and growth will help the immune system develop. Five servings of fruits and vegetables, sources of lean protein and milk and a balanced diet are advised. She should have standard immunizations unless otherwise contraindicated by her physician. Thank you for your comment. If your daughter has repeated episodes of pneumonia, sinus infections, prolonged diarrhea, skin infections, she made need to have lab tests to determine if she has an illness that can affect the immune system.
